Any fellow readers? I'm a big fan of fantasy and sci fi books. My favorites are the Malazan series by Steven Erikson and Ian Cameron Esslemont, The Witcher series by Andrzej Sapkowski, the First Law series by Joe Abercrombie, and the Hyperion Cantos series by Dan Simmons. More recently I've been getting into Brandon Sanderson who is a bit hit and miss but generally very enjoyable. I also read Brent Weeks' Night Angel Trilogy which was a fun series and currently reading Mark Lawrence's Broken Empire series. What are some of your favorites or recommendations?

Still working through the 3rd "First law" book. Work has been off dick recently, so I haven't had much time for reading.

I LOVE reading. I have way too many books. XD I got like 4 bookcases (though a couple shelves are for collectibles) and two other shelves for books and 2 boxes packed away of em. XD

I mostly read fantasy and science fiction. Though I like romance and other stuff as well. Here's a little list of some favorites:

The Immortals series by Alyson Noel - I tried this since I heard that if you liked Twilight you'd like it, and boy was that true. I got hooked! Its one of my absolute favorite series and authors! I have a lot of her other books. Even a signed one. Like her other books extremely hard to put down. Pretty easy to read in just a few sittings. The second book pretty much had me crying.

The Riley Bloom series by Alyson Noel - the companion to The Immortals. Just as awesome.

The Faerie Path series by Frewin Jones - I love this series. Another one that I could not put down. I do have some books signed by him in his Destiny's Path series which is also good.

Beatiful Creatures series - One of those series I never gave much thought till my mom was looking at it. I tried it, and was hooked. Its similar to Twilight in a way...personally its better in my opinion. The Dangerous Creatures series is good too.

Across the Universe series by Beth Revis - I don't read a lot of pure science fiction, but it seemed interesting so I gave it a shot. I fell in love with it. This series is hard to put down. Certain scenes still stick with me.

"The Body Electric" by Beth Revis - I love this one too. I couldn't put it down. Its just so good.

Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer- I don't normally do vampire stuff. Or I didn't before this. I'm always unsure bout these things since I never know if their gorely or not. I got totally hooked. I went out and bought the other books.

"The Host" by Stephanie Meyer - I love this book. A good portion was somewhat slowish, but it got better. I really wish she'd do more with this.

The House of Night series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast - Long, but good series. Kinda sad its over.

The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini - Its really amazing to know someone can get punished so young. One of many series I fell in love with. Super excited there's more to come too!

Shannara series by Terry Brooks - Super long, but amazing series. I love it! I read almost anything by him.

Landover Series by Terry Brooks - See above.

Harry Potter - This thing got me hooked on reading again.

I loved these books, I really can't wait to read more in the future.  The Eragon movie sucked and did not do this series justice.

Yes! I love them! Excited to hear that he's working on more set in that world with some old faces returning including Eragon and Arya.

I never did see the movie. I have it somewhere, just never bothered to watch it. XD Bad habit of mine. I do remember fans making a petition for a reboot of the movies. I know my brother always wished they had done more with them.

The Crossroads trilogy by Kate Elliott is one of my favorite fantasy series. The style of storytelling reminds me of GoT, with the many characters and their individual storylines. I find these books less tedious to read though. I was excited to find out that the first book in The Black Wolves trilogy, a new series following the events of Crossroads, was released late last year. My copy of Black Wolves should be here tomorrow, really looking forward to reading it.

I do enjoy when they change point of views in stories. Terry Brooks did that a lot too, and I always loved it.

Already to page 234, a bit over 500 to go. This book is really good so far, I'm considering checking out others by this author once I'm finished.

Often that's what I do. I'll go and see what else they did and see if I want to read any. Some authors I don't touch much else while others I buy everything!

Checking out the new Harry Potter. I'm not crazy about the fact that it's written in play format. The conversations between characters seem so flat...and emotionless. But the story is interesting enough, so I will continue.
